Jeff Moonie,
Jr. received a BA in Communications (media production) from UNC Chapel
Hill where he studied writing and directing. Jeff directed and edited the
feature length documentary "Donor" which received the Best Documentary
Award at the Asheville Film Festival. He also wrote and directed short
films such as "Little Mama" and "When It Hurts" which were recognized by
the IFC and Sundance respectively. In 2009 Jeff wrote all of the original
lyrics and songs for the "Read Between The Lines" episode of Cold Case on
CBS. He made series history when one of his compositions became the first
original song to play over the case-solving montage. Jeff Moonie, Jr. has
several film projects in various stages of production and is preparing to
release his debut solo album "Soul Motivation" under the moniker Jeff
Lucky.
